The Thai Public Health Education Institutes Network (THAIPHEIN)

Strengthening public health education through networking is a key strategy to help public health education institutions. ThaiPHEIN was established in 1997 with membership of 16 public health and related institutions in Thailand. These are four main activities: professional–related achievement, technical cooperation, faculty/student exchange and training. Annual meetings were held at the national level with bimonthly meetings held within each of the 16 institutes.

In 2008-2009, the ThaiPHEIN committee agreed to publish an international electronic journal entitled “ Asia Journal of Public Health ” with the economic initiation by Faculty of Public Health , Mahidol University.


Asia Journal of Public Health
Asia Journal of Public Health is the official journal of the Thai Public Health Education Institutes Network (ThaiPHEIN). It is a peer reviewed electronic journal, publishing 2 issues per year.

The Journal’s aim is to provide on easily accessible , international evidence- based information for improvement in public health and the health status of the population. This Journal publishes Original Articles , Reviews , Short Communications, and Letters on any aspect of Public Health
